About Nice Hat

We have one designer, and that's me...Shawn. I want everyone to love Derby hats as much as I do so I take extra time to carefully design each one, making sure they are perfect in every way. I want every woman to feel as beautiful as they look in a Nice Hat. At Nice Hat, we believe that hats are more than just an accessory. Your hat shouldn't just tell the story...it should BE the story. No one will remember what dress you wore to the Derby...BUT THAT HAT...That's why we are passionate about our hats and everything they represent. Big, small, wild and crazy or classy and quiet, there is a Nice Hat for you!

All of our Nice Hats are made here in Louisville, home of the Kentucky Derby. EVERY SINGLE FLOWER is handmade, here in the shop. Every petal is hand cut, curled and sewn by hand. Even the stamens are carefully selected individually and sewn into each flower. For some added fun, all of our pieces have names...never duplicated...some might even be a little mischievous...and we think that just might bring you a little more pep in your step...or luck at the races...when you wear your Nice Hat!
